Together, you will explore the vibrant energy of the fishing port, find atmospheric, disused locations your feet might never naturally find, and frame unique architectural details. An Experience in Seeing, Not a Technical Course
It’s important to note that this experience is focused on developing your photographic eye for street and travel scenes, and discovering Essaouira in a unique way. It is not an intensive, technical photography course covering camera settings in depth, as mastering those takes much more than a few hours. The goal is inspiration, unique access, and practical guidance in the field.

The walk lasts approximately 2,5 hours.
To capture Essaouira in its most beautiful light, Zakaria recommends starting in the morning (around 10:00 AM) or the late afternoon (around 4:30 PM) to catch the magical golden hour.
What to bring ?
- Your own digital camera: Any model is fine (smartphones are not recommended), Zakaria adapts to help you get the best out of your gear.
- Comfortable Shoes: You’ll be doing a fair bit of walking on uneven surfaces.
- Water: Stay hydrated, especially during warmer months.
